ABC rails – safe and stable

KnR Medical Supplies offers three types of rail, A, B and C, all part of the Guldmann range. Each of the rails developed in consideration of bearing capacity and reach, all of which can be installed into your care environment. The rails are suitable for installation on walls, ceilings, floor-mounted brackets or a combination of any of these. The system can span up to 8 metres unsupported, depending on the configuration of the rails and overall system. Because of this, the room that the rails are installed in, and the contents of the room are not affected.

The rails can include special linears that charge lifting modules (GH3), that is not affected by the location of the module within the system. Designed with the user in mind, the rails enable the module to silently and smoothly be repositioned, at the ease of the carer.

In a room with suspended ceilings, to achieve optimal results, the rails should be integrated into the ceiling. This is applicable to single rails and room-wide systems. A-rails are optimal for single rail systems due to the curves (30°, 45°, 60° and 90°), switch tracks and turntables being the same height as the rails. The modular nature of the rails allows for alteration and expansion of the systems if necessary.

The Guldmann ABC rails, supplied by KnR Medical Supplies, are made of corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium. This allows for the use of the rails in wet rooms or humid environments. The ABC rails are also available in white (RAL 9016).
