One System – a host of opportunities

The Positioning Lock is another additional feature to the GH3 hoist, both exclusively brought to you by KnR Medical Supplies in Ireland. It aids the hoist in the moving, repositioning and treating of patients. With the Positioning Lock, you are able to fix the lifting module and/or traverse rail in any position within a full-coverage rail system.

Comprised of three small locks, one for the hoist in the traverse rail and two in the parallel wall rails, ensuring the hoist is secure and stable. Alternatively, a single lock version is available that is for securing a lifting motor within a single rail system.

There are locks on the parallel rails, which can be used to prevent the sideways movement of the traverse rail. This effectively makes the traverse rail function as a fixed rail. Hosts can still travel along the now stationary traverse rail to be used for patient training. Should the lock of the lifting module be locked, this allows the traverse rail to be moved without the hoist moving from its set position. Using all three locks in conjunction prevents the lifting module moving from its secured position and is an aid for many rehabilitation exercises for both bed-bound and mobile patients.
